Jose F. Cuervo

Jose F. Cuervo is an associate attorney at BOZ Legal where he focuses his practice on First Party Property Insurance Defense. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Cuervo worked at a boutique insurance defense firm in the litigation and insurance coverage departments. He also has experience representing municipalities in a variety of negligence matters.

Jose graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, where he was also a member of the basketball team. He went to attend St. Thomas University School of Law as a Merit Scholar and graduated cum laude. During law school, Jose interned for the Honorable Veronica A. Diaz in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, civil division.
